Portraits of Home
Portraits of Home combines my writing, drawings, and film photography to explore my personal meaning of 'home' by looking beyond its typical connotations. The zine was risographed by Risolve Studio.
In hopes of spreading awareness of Asian hate crimes, I initially sold the zine in 2021 to raise money for CAAAV, a community-based organization which helps inform and build power of low income Asian immigrants and refugees in New York City. Copies were also sold at the 2023 Los Angeles Printed Matter Art Book Fair.
